Darren Ehlers, Development

In the beginning of 1999, Darren, via his company, STARBASE-21, was the first to market canned add-in modules with simple "plug-in" installation for the Miva Merchant ecommerce platform. From that point, STARBASE-21 released over 150 specific modules over the next few years for Miva Merchant versions 1.x to 4.x. Darren's main product of the last few years, OpenUI, is a full user interface module that is required for the vast majority of modules sold by third party vendors. The OpenUI is the most-sold module for Miva Merchant ever. Creating these ecommerce feature modules has helped Darren develop the experience necessary to expand his arsenal to an entire application set independent, and beyond, Miva Merchant.

Chuck Lasker, Marketing

Chuck earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering in 1984. Chuck's career began in Electronics Engineering with Texas Instruments, the Navy (as a civilian) and Delco Electronics. After 6 years, Chuck moved into marketing and management, leading to the position of Vice President of Marketing & Operations for a national health products company for 10 years. Lately, Chuck has combined his technical and marketing skills to be an independent consultant for small e-commerce store owners. Chuck has been published in print and on the Internet as a recognized e-commerce expert author. In 2005, Chuck founded and sold Practical Ecommerce Magazine.

Joshua Baumgardner, Development and MIS

Josh earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems in 2004 from the University of Central Arkansas. As Systems Administrator/Web Developer since 2002 at World Wide Web Specialist International Inc., a technology company with hosting, Web site design and other offerings, Josh has been essential in maintaining superior service and quality Web site design. Josh's experience as an end user of Web design applications combined with his MIS degree are key to siteXpansion, Inc.'s core metric.
